Excuses, excuses (It's Not MY fault)

What a crock. Dude lost me at “school-to-prison pipeline.” just another example of throwing your hands up and saying, “What are ya gonna do?” and making excuses and shifting the blame. It’s more of a “horrible, fractured home life-to-prison” pipeline. No amount of legislation can repair, provide, or replace what parents should be emphasizing at home - keep the family together (or at least be present & active with the kids you bring into the world) and get an education. If those were prioritized, in 20 years it’d be a much different world.

It’s taken a long time, but I’m just now getting to the point where select-a-size paper towels don’t frustrate the Hell out of me

Lifestyle shift

One if my favorite things about both living in Maine and working from home is not having to worry about traffic. Saves hours per day. Don’t miss that about Chicago AT ALL.
